To do this, I use a large light modifier—think of it as a softbox that spreads light wide and wraps it gently around the face. This approach reduces harsh shadows and brings out natural features without distraction.
Variety in Posing and Angles
Everyone has a “best side,” and part of my job is helping you find it. I usually photograph three classic angles:
Straight-on,
Angled left,
Angled right.
This gives you multiple options to choose from, and allows us to capture subtle differences in expression and posture that suit different platforms or uses. I guide you through each pose so you feel at ease, natural, and professional.
Live Image Review with Tethered Shooting
I shoot tethered to a laptop so you can see your photos in real time as we go. This isn’t just about convenience—it helps us collaborate. You’ll be able to view the images, make selections, and provide feedback on the spot. It’s a more relaxed, efficient experience, and it ensures we get exactly what you need.
True-to-Life Retouching
Once you've selected your images, I retouch them with care. My editing style is natural and clean. I aim to enhance—not alter—your image. You’ll still look like yourself, just on your best day. No over-smoothing, no filters, no gimmicks. Just a professional, polished representation of who you are.
