All photographs & videos created by Dwain Thomas Photography are protected under U.S. copyright law. Copyright is retained by the photographer at all times unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Standard Usage License

Unless otherwise specified in writing, clients are granted a non-exclusive license to use delivered images for personal and self-promotional purposes only.

Permitted uses typically include:

Personal websites
Social media
Professional portfolios
Press kits provided by the client for self-promotion only, provided no third-party publication occurs without written permission
Internal promotional materials

This license does not transfer ownership of the images.

Uses That Require Written Permission

The following uses are not included under standard licensing and require written authorization and a separate license:

Editorial publication (magazines, newspapers, blogs, journals)
Advertising or commercial campaigns
Billboards, posters, flyers, or paid placements
Third-party use by brands, organizations, or sponsors
Product packaging or resale
Any use involving paid distribution or large circulation

If a third party requests the use of an image, they must contact the photographer directly before publication.

Where credit is customarily provided, images must be credited as:

Failure to provide credit does not invalidate copyright ownership.
